Carrillo Funeral Home Holds Open House to Introduce Features of its Newest Location in Texas

April 16, 2024

Carrillo Funeral Home held an open house April 13-14 at its newest location in Lewisville, Texas, featuring a mariachi band, food, giveaways, activities for kids and more. The Lewisville funeral home is Carrillo’s sixth location, and it will provide families in the community with the same level of dedicated care offered at their other locations in Dallas, Grand Prairie, Fort Worth, South Fort Worth and Tyler. Known for the exceptional quality of their funeral, memorial, burial and cremation services in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, the Carrillo team possesses 25 years of experience in serving families with compassion and professionalism.

“We have a firm commitment to making our families’ experience as convenient as possible,” said Ricardo Carrillo, founder and president. “A big part of that is having conveniently located funeral homes that families can find and get to easily. In September 2022, we opened our funeral home in South Fort Worth to be closer to the families there. And now we are expanding again so we can better support families on the far north end of town in an atmosphere that is not only close and convenient to them but also where they get the support they need when they need us most.”

Like the other locations, the new Lewisville funeral home features a large, modern chapel to accommodate the needs of families. It, too, will be remodeled every five years to maintain Carrillo’s standard of upscale funeral homes.

Lewisville families can also expect that their loved ones will be under the care of Carrillo’s expert staff throughout the entire process since they do not outsource such services as embalming or cremation. The firm’s private crematory offers families complete peace of mind.

Significantly, families are drawn to the Texas funeral home for its respect and celebration of Mexican culture and tradition. Along with a Spanish-speaking staff to help families comfortably navigate the process of planning, Carrillo also strives to honor the traditions and beliefs of Mexican culture by incorporating such services as 24-hour viewings, processions with horses, and mariachi and banda music so that families can fully personalize the final arrangements of their loved ones. Even the facilities themselves are ornamented with unique art pieces that channel the beauty of Mexico and contribute to the comforting and familiar atmosphere.

In addition to its innovative burial and cremation service packages that make the funeral arrangement process simpler, Carrillo Funeral Home goes above and beyond to make the experience meaningful and memorable by offering events such as memorial dove and butterfly releases. The company also maintains a supportive, long-lasting relationship with families through its grief aftercare program and estate concierge service.

During the arrangement process itself, all family members are invited and encouraged to participate. The funeral directors at Carrillo take the time to listen to all input, ensuring that families are not rushed through important decisions about their loved one’s services.

The firm is especially known for its mastery of the international transfer process and helps coordinate the process of shipping loved ones to and from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Cuba, Africa and other countries. They are recognized by other Texas funeral homes – and even by those in neighboring states – as experts in this delicate, complex procedure. Carrillo uses its knowledge and network of relationships to efficiently handle the documentation and communication necessary to return loved ones to their families as quickly as possible.

“We are so grateful for the trust and support we have received from families for 25 years,” said Carrillo. “We have spent that time consistently evolving and improving our services to better support our community, and we are so excited to bring our passion for funeral service to the families of Lewisville. Our mission is to let them know that we are always here for them and that they can rely on us to create a meaningful and memorable healing experience.” carrillofuneralhomes.com
