NFDA Business Conference: Secure Your Firm’s Financial Future

May 04, 2018

For Immediate Release: May 4, 2018

Brookfield, Wis. – There’s no doubt that funeral directors are highly skilled when it comes to caring for the bereaved. However, managing their funeral home’s finances with expertise can be a challenge. Created especially for small to mid-size funeral home businesses, the annual National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) Business Conference arms owners and managers with innovative solutions and essential business knowledge and tools to ensure growth, profitability and financial strength. It will be held July 11-13 at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, N.C.

During this highly interactive conference, attendees will learn from top national authorities who will help them make sense of their funeral home’s financial picture. They will also discover how to interpret and analyze financial statements; manage cash flow and expenses; consider acquisitions; learn key exit planning strategies to enjoy a fulfilling retirement; and so much more.

Participants will also engage with experts and their peers in breakout discussions and roundtable sessions. In addition, attendees will take a time out to enjoy the beauty of Asheville during a trip to the winery on the historic Biltmore Estate for a tour and tasting.

The NFDA Business Conference will be led by an all-star line-up of highly knowledgeable, successful and engaging business management and financial authorities: David Adams, Johnson Consulting Group; Will Bischoff, Homesteaders Life Company; Robert L. Buhrig Jr., CFSP, CPC, Myers-Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory, Mechanicsburg, Penn.; and Steve Shaffer, Homesteaders Life Company.

Registration for the NFDA Business Conference includes presentations, handouts, lunch, refreshments and the Biltmore Winery Tour and CE.
