NFDA Business Conference: Secure Your Firm’s Financial Future

Brookfield, Wis. – Balance sheets and cash flow and EBIDTA, oh my! Navigating a funeral home’s finances can be a challenge, but the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) will arm owners and managers with innovative solutions and essential business knowledge and tools to ensure their firm’s growth, profitability and financial strength during the 2019 Business Conference.

During this highly interactive conference, taking place February 24-26 at the Tradewinds Island Resort in St. Pete Beach, Fla., attendees will learn from top national authorities who will help them make sense of their funeral home’s financial picture. They will also discover how to interpret and analyze financial statements; manage cash flow and expenses; consider acquisitions; learn key exit planning strategies to enjoy a fulfilling retirement; and so much more.

Participants will also engage with experts and their peers in breakout discussions and roundtable sessions, during which they will be able to apply what they learn to their own business.  

The NFDA Business Conference will be led by an all-star line-up of highly knowledgeable, successful and engaging business management and financial authorities: Will Bischoff, vice president of strategic markets, Homesteaders Life Company; Robert L. Buhrig Jr., CFSP, CPC, owner and operator, Myers-Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory, Mechanicsburg, Penn.; William McQueen, CPA, JD, LLM, partner, Legacy Protection Lawyers; and Steve Shaffer, CEO and president, Homesteaders Life Company.

Funeral professionals can save $50 when they register for the 2019 Business Conference by January 18, 2019.

The resort features beach and water activities, sports and fitness opportunities, a premier spa and plenty of delectable restaurant options to meet your wants and needs. NFDA has secured a limited number of rooms at the Tradewinds Island Resort for the discounted rate of $194 plus tax (single/double) for Business Conference attendees.
